Detroit Boyz Rock 2025 Initiative Update
We invite you to stand with us in empowering the next generation of young men through a transformative initiative: the Golf Academy Lessons offered by the Association for Youth Empowerment in proud partnership with Building Better Men.
We just completed our fifth year of this work and over the years we have had over 100 young black boys between the ages of 10 through 17 participate.
This years program was led by the folks at Hollywood Golf Institute A National Award Winning Junior Golf Program
This program is more than just golf. It’s about discipline, mentorship, and exposure—giving young men, many from underserved communities, the opportunity to learn a sport that opens doors to new environments, networks, and possibilities. On the greens, they’re not just learning how to swing—they’re learning how to lead.

- A safe and accessible location to learn the game!

Also: If you have used golf clubs to donate, we would be very happy to make arrangements to collect them from you, especially youth equipment. We are looking for some left handed clubs as well!
